Links make the web go round.  And if someone links to something I wrote, it is usually the best indicator that they appreciate it.  One of the things that I have been doing for a few years now on my photography blog is to compile the top 20 sites who have referred traffic to me and provide a ranked list with links back.  A way of recognizing and saying thank you to those who sent traffic my way.  I think it is time to do the same thing here at the labs.
